Rhyme Time
If I could I would, and I should. Oh, I’m good. If I can, come up with a plan, to become a man, I could get a tan, but with all this fur, I must demur; you understand, I’m sure. I much prefer, as it were, to keep my yard secure. From this task I shall not stir. I’m happy best when I can rest, as my human friends can attest, lest I become a pest. There’s no sleep for the weary, sorry most sincerely. I spend my days in a variety of ways, always running, deck-side sunning, and sister-funning. I get paid in food and treats which I do love to eats, but please no beets, or I get the sheets. Give me sweets and juicy meats excepting only cow teats. Give me poultry please, it goes down with the greatest of ease. Do not tease about the cheese; it is my favorite and I like to savor it; when preparing do not un-flavor it. Should I forget to mention, when I speak please pay attention. I am wise beyond my years, due in part to floppy ears, my dears. If you’ve nothing nice to say then stay away. That is all for today. I close with doggie licks, if I may. If you’ve got dogs, don’t forget to neuter/spay.
